Experiencing the beauty of Jamaica by sea will add an entirely new dimension to your stay. Tony Scott, owner of the 36 foot deep-sea fishing boat Striker and the colorful 28 foot painted boat Little Children, is a personable and trustworthy man who offers competitive rates to serve as your fishing guide and water taxi. Tony knows the best snorkeling spots and beaches around, and he can show you the sights up and down the spectacular coastline. This is a fabulous way to take in Dunn's River Falls!

A personal favorite afternoon is a trip to the White River, a colorful community of boating people and fisherman, with jungle which is reminiscent of the African Queen. Upon reaching the un-navigable portion of the river, you will disembark and take a short jungle walk, ending up at Calypso Cove. This is a magical spot where the river does a few bends. There is a raked sand area to sit, and swimming in the river here is not to be missed. Food and drinks are available from local vendors.

For fishing enthusiasts, the fully rigged Striker, under the command of a licensed captain, can be rented for half or full day excursions beyond the coastal reefs, where marlin, sword fish and other game fish can be caught. Based in Ocho Rios, the Striker serves the area from Discovery Bay to Oracabessa, but accommodations can be made for guests staying in other parts of the island.
