Hi Reg, We had a fabulous time at Bay Watch. The house was very nice, it was clean and pretty. The pool & porch over looking the sea was awesome! We ate every meal outside – what a spectacular view! The staff - excellent. The food - wonderful! The kids loved Cheryl and Janet’s cooking! Clifton, our driver, was very sweet and got us to where we needed to be. We had a great week…we hope we can do it again sometime! Please extend another thank you to the entire staff, they took good care of us and really made us feel at home. We were so sad to leave! Dear Reg: I felt moved to write to you and tell you a little about my stay at Bay Watch. I've been on vacation before but never have I been so touched by an experience. I was late getting to the airport in Newark and ended up having to take a different flight than the other ladies. Knowing that the airport in Montego Bay was a bit of a distance from Bay Watch, I was concerned that the driver would have a difficult time with all the driving to and fro. I need not have worried. Clifton was there right on time -- smiling and ready. And since it was just me by myself I got to sit in the front seat with him. Never having been to Jamaica before I had many questions, all of which he answered and also had other funny little anecdotes to tell. This was my first look at Jamaica and it's people -- I was already impressed. Then we arrived at Bay Watch. Yes, I'd seen the pictures on the Internet but I was still not prepared for the warmth and beauty of the place. When I walked up all the lights were on and the other ladies were walking up out of the water. We all started screaming. It was just too much and too beautiful!!! Then the next day I met our staff -- Sheryl, LaVerne and Dimples. What wonderful people these women are! I can't say enough about them -- how warm, loving, cheerful and helpful they all are. Sheryl's cooking is divine, her manner gentle and unobtrusive. We came to know these women and now we love them as though they are members of our family. As for Courtney and Marlon, we've come to love them too. Courtney is a wonderful young man -- very mannerly -- and he did everything in his power to make us feel safe and secure. Marlon, as well, with his quiet manner and shy smile. You didn't always see him but he was always there watching -- making sure we were okay -- him, and who we now call, "our dogs", Sandy and Wave. All of these people performed their duties with absolute professionalism and with great kindness and warmth. They are to be commended for their efforts. Thank you so much for all you did in helping us plan our vacation. And please let the owner know what a great time we had, how much we adored the villa and how pleased we were with the staff of Bay Watch. Dear Reg, I have been to Jamaica before and stayed in Ocho Rios and Montego Bay and I have always enjoyed myself. However, words cannot adequately express the feelings I had (and still have) regarding my stay at Bay Watch. Our driver, Clifton, was waiting for us when we walked out of the terminal and I immediately felt his warmth. I'm so glad you suggested that we get the driver for the week. He was full of knowledge about the island and kept us informed. It started to pour while we were on our way and at times I could barely see out of the window but he got us to our destination - he is an excellent driver and was always there when we needed him to be. Once we made that turn and went through the white gate, I became excited. We walked through the house ohhhing and ahhing. But it wasn't until I saw the beach, that I was in heaven. The house was airy and comfortable, the beds were comfortable. Having 4 females in one house could have been a disaster but the sound of the ocean, the good food, and the good nature of everyone connected with the the place made it seem more like home than a vacation spot. The staff (Sheryl, Dimples and Laverne) had fixed us a lovely and delicious meal. I want you to know that they were friendly, courteous, funny and more importantly, they made us feel like family. To wake up to the sound of the ocean, a good breakfast and their smiling faces - what more could I ask for? I looked forward to seeing them every morning. Being a New Yorker, I'm not a trusting person and being in a house so close to the beach, my concern was security . I need not have worried with Courtney Nevers there. For a young man, he was very polite, and extremely professional. I was very upset when they tried to send him to another location on our last night but I took care of that. with a couple of phone calls. Marlon was an extra added source of security for all of us - always knowing that he was around somewhere. That's a lot of property to take care of and he kept it in excellent condition. Not being fond of animals, I was afraid of the dogs at first but I learned first hand that they were also there to protect us and the grounds and became used to them being around. I even met Clifford one day while I was on the beach and had a nice conversation. I took some lovely pictures of the grounds and people cannot believe how gorgeous the place is. This was by far, the best vacation ever. My only regret was not being able to meet or speak to the owner to personally express just how much I enjoyed my stay and the how wonderful the staff is. While I do not know now when I will return I want you to know that we plan to return again as a group. Thank you for all of your help. Until next time....Corliss.

Hello Reg and Alan, Thank you for your message. We're now safely home, cases unpacked, recovered from jet lag, pictures downloaded and ready to reflect on the holiday. I would certainly recommend villa accommodation to anyone, particularly with the quality of staff you have at Baywatch. As I've been telling everyone, it was the staff that made it feel like a holiday. They were all very friendly and accommodating and Sheryl especially had a lovely, calm demeanor as if she could (and probably does) cope with anything. She was especially sweet about making myself and my partner birthday cakes (Dan's was on the 17th and mine on the 18th), and they all sang Happy Birthday, which was very touching. My mum, being a fellow Jamaican, had an instant rapport with them which was lovely. I also liked Maureen from Karandas Tours - she was very friendly and professional. And the drivers, Bailey and Dwight were lovely people to deal with. Sheryl and LeVerne's children were also delightful to have around, and it gave Michael some playmates. And we enjoyed hearing about the history of the place from Clifford. It was a fabulous holiday. You never know when you do business over the internet whether you're going to get what you expect - there might have been a building site next door or something! But the location and views were perfect, and as I said before, the staff really made the holiday for us. It was also a pleasure doing business with you guys. The information you sent was useful, even if I didn't always read it in full(!) and you were always very patient with my questions and gave speedy responses. Many, many thanks again.
