Makana Villa, completed in December 2006, continues the tradition of Discovery Bay as having the finest collection of luxurious homes in Jamaica, and possibly the Caribbean. This beautiful 6-bedroom villa is designed to provide an unforgettable setting for a memorable vacation. The furnishings are stylish and elegant, and great attention has been given to every detail to ensure your comfort.

Four of the spaceous and well-appointed bedrooms and the family room are upstairs, and the two downstairs bedrooms are separated from the public areas of the house by a water feature for added privacy. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and private balconies or verandahs with views of the bay.

Outdoor living is complimented by the infinity-edge swimming pool, hot tub and seaside gazebo with spectacular views of Discovery Bay, the mountains, and brilliant sunsets.

Active guests can enjoy the well equipped air-conditioned gym with outdoor shower and spa, and the private tennis court with lights for night play. Complimentary kayaks and snorkeling equipment is also provide for your enjoyment.

Child friendly, Makana's unique design addresses the accommodation of family units. Excellent Jamaican nannies are available on request.

Bedroom Configuration:
The owners of Makana have stressed luxurious nighttime comfort by installing top-of-the-line mattresses and pillows, and hypo-allergenic down featherbed mattress toppers. All bedrooms have closet safes.

Second Level:
-Bedroom 1 Master Bedroom is a 840 sq. ft. suite with king bed, lounge area, full-size sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and private balcony. The bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity.
-Bedroom 2 "Papaya" is 540 sq. ft. with a king size bed, bathroom with walk-in shower, flat screen TV, and private balcony.
-Bedroom 3 "Breadfruit" is 480 sq. ft. with a king size bed, flat screen TV, and private balcony. The bathroom has a shower.
-Bedroom 4 "Blue Room" is 450 sq. ft. with two queen size beds, bathroom with shower/tub. This bedroom can accommodate 4 children and has a television and Playstation. There is a private balcony with a lockable door.

First Level Annex - 2 bedrooms:
A unique interior water feature joins the main house to a connecting private annex. The annex includes a sitting room and two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom and terrace. This suite of rooms is ideal for a family of four.
-Bedroom 5 "Sugar Cane"  - is 380 sq. ft. with optional king or two twin beds, bathroom with shower/tub, flat screen TV, and private verandah.
-Bedrooms 6 "Bamboo" is 440 sq. ft. with king size bed, bathroom with large walk-in double shower, flat screen TV, and private verandah.

The villa is fully staffed with with two butlers, cook, housekeeper, gardener and laundress.
