Thank you, both. We had a wonderful stay at Pineapple Villa. What a beautiful house with so many "environments" within it! I don't think we have any complaints. The staff were great, and we have worked with may villa staff over 20 years. Gwendolyn, Angela, and Pinky had a nearly perfect balance of professional distance with personal interaction. We all enjoyed watching some of the cricket, and they were patient with my ignorance of what has seemed like a mysterious game. They reminded me of diehard Red Sox fans in their enthusiasm for the West Indies team. We had more rain that we have had in memory, but that was only one day with some showers on other days. The house accommodated our large group very well. The upstairs living room became a wonderful yoga area early every morning. Food involved the usual Silver Sands dishes, but prepared extremely well for the most part. We like to do our own shopping at Chens and did so. Laundry was done every day (some villas seem to only do it a couple of times in a week) though we didn't have too much of it. The big screen TV in the main living room didn't work, but we brought the small LCD TV down from upstairs once or twice. DSL/wireless internet access was a boon for nearly everyone at one time or another, and we appreciated the Internet-based phone connection. Since the owner is from NH like us, nearly all calls were really local.

We would hope to return there next year and are considering a longer stay to incorporate our various children's college breaks. (It was fun to have all of them there since they were 2 or 3 years old the first time we went to Silver Sands).

We stayed at the Pineapple Villa last week to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and the entire stay was incredible. We had 4 families in the Villa, and it never felt crowded. We loved the veranda, and the accommodations were incredible. One night we had a special dinner for my parents (who were staying in the smaller cottage), and it was so wonderful to be able to show them the DVD we made on the big screen TV. No one had a bad location to watch the DVD! As much as we enjoyed the accommodations, what made our trip truly special were the staff at the Villa. They could not have been nicer, more helpful or more gracious if they tried. They worked with me to make the special dinner very special. My daughters woke up yesterday morning saying "we miss the ladies!" Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Karen

We would love to comment on our beautiful stay in Jamaica. In October we stayed at Pineapple Villa for 8 days with a total of 21 people.  This was our 4th year in Silver Sands Jamaica and my sister and her husabands 14th year.  We just want to say that our stay at Pineapple Villa was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! There are no other words to describe it. The staff could not have been more enjoyable and courteous. With our fellow vacationers decreasing from 21 to 6 this year, we will be staying at the new villa "Hideaway". We understand that we will not be disappointed in this villa either! We have made so many friends at Silver Sands that we will not vacation any other place in Jamaica!    Billie Jo & Michael
