Hi Reg, Yes, my family had a wonderful experience at Summerhill. First of all, you & Alan were extremely helpful in making sure that the booking of the villa was flawless. It was great dealing with you guys. You seemed to be extremely understanding about everything & followed thru ensuring that all the last minute details were handled in a timely fashion. As for the service provided by the staff at Summerhill, I can sum it up with one word, "Superior". We were welcomed with bright smiles. The cook, Otis, was so understanding and went out of his way to make sure that our food budget was within reason. He is a fantastic cook, too. Believe me, I know good Jamaican cuisine when I taste it. His dishes satisfied even the most discriminating of palates, and we were never dissatisfied with his choice of meals. The butler, Milton, was always willing to assist in whatever way he could to ensure that our stay was comfortable. Theresa, the housekeeper always presented a warm & welcoming attitude. Nadine, was probably called upon to wash more than she expected, but to my knowledge, she did it with a gracious attitude. Since my group consisted mainly of family members, it was important to me that everyone was able to experience the closeness that we share as a family. Meaning, we wanted to feel "at home" even though we were many miles away. The staff allowed us the freedom to do just that. This was particular important because for many, this was there first Jamaican experience. So in summary, Reg, Summerhill exceeded our expectations! I can assure you we would most certainly do it again, and our villa of choice would be Summerhill. Thanks, Helen

Reg, we had a lovely time at Summerhill; the staff was gracious and very efficient, the pool outstanding and access to the Rose Hall Club crucial to our handful of grandchildren, ages 15 monts to age 7. The house was comfortably appointed yet not so elegant as to make it inapporpraite for the little ones. We were also pleased with Marcus and Oniel, who drove for us with great good humor and skill. Hi Reg, We had a fabulous time at Summerhill. The house met our needs perfectly and the staff was wonderful in every way. Otis, Arlene, and Melton knocked themselves out to please us. We had so many special requests: for Otis to make both spicy and mild versions of his dishes, and to work with special dietary needs and within our budget; Arlene worked almost around the clock - making coffee at 4am for the guys that went fishing, sharing her recipes; and Melton went over and above by making every table setting gorgeous - adorning our table with a myriad of fresh flowers and moving our table to get shade at early meals and breeze on the hottest nights. It was actually difficult to sit back and relax knowing that they were working so hard all the time. As for the villa itself, the pictures of Summerhill don't quite capture the feeling of the place. I selected it because the bedroom layout was perfect and the price was right, but in the pictures the house looks somewhat formal and stuffy. In person, it is extremely comfortable and provides lots of cozy spots to hang out or hunker down with a book. I think I might be inclined to show a few pictures of people drinking at the bar, or playing a game in the gazebo, or sipping coffee in the hideaway patio. The house could accomodate all 17 of us in several locations, and was so spacious that some people could play loud music and swim in the pool without disturbing those who preferred privacy and quiet. We had intended to make many outings, but ended up staying at the house most of the time. There was no need to leave for any reason at all. Thank you for making all the arrangements. It was an incredible week, the staff were great, the driver safe and experienced with areas of Montego Bay and the surrounding areas. I will give my thanks to the staff for the hard work in making our stay at SummerHill relaxing and fun. It would be impossible to go back to Hotel stay after the treatment and comfort we received from the entire staff. I personally thank the whole staff which includes Janet, Clifton, Thereasa, Brandon, Arlene, Marva. Richard the driver was great and he should know it. Once again Alan we had a fantastic time at Summerhill. I guess this is an annual trip we are doing. The villa was amazing and staff as always were just great.  The Coaster Bus was much better than last year and Trevor the driver was fantastic. A great Company. Dear Alan & Reg: We had a wonderful time at Summerhill. The villa was just gorgeous, and accommodated the family perfectly. We all had a great time, and I appreciate all of your preliminary help. The entire staff was also wonderful, especially Carlton and Janet. We would have been lost without Carlton, and Janet was extremely understanding about all of our specific food requests.
