Hello Reg, Alan, and Latoya! Wow, I just don't know where to start. Our entire group could not say enough about the great time we all had at Idleawile. The villa, the grounds, and the surrounding view is breathtaking and very well kept. The staff (Brenda, Craig, Gary) catered to our every need. Denton, our driver, was fantastic, he spent so much time with us that we felt guilty...he practically planned our vacation. We would just get in the van and say, "Denton, take us somewhere" and he would. We had a fantastic time with him! It was like having family with you...they make you feel so comfortable. We had no agenda so we woke up every morning and did absolutely what we wanted. There were four couples in our group and it was a great escape for us all. We absolutely lived on the veranda and at the gazebo in the pool area! We ate breakfast and dinner there every day! We were contemplating an all-inclusive and are so glad we went with the villa. Idleawile is for any type of group, we are planning a trip for our children, we are planning a girl's trip, and we are planning a work retreat....all at Idleawile! I am planning our next trip to Idleawile now, so we will be in touch soon! Thanks again, Cherri

Reg, Sorry for the delay in response. It has been hectic since returning from Jamaica and trying to continue our work while here instead of there. Having the mission team stay at Idleawile was definitely one of the best choices we made. It offered a fantastic place for group living while providing us personal space to reflect on our interactions with the Jamaican people. The staff at Idleawile were incredible, and that doesn't even seem to capture them. They were polite, friendly, helpful, outgoing and professional. They reached out to those we were helping on our mission trip with each of them making a trip to the orphanage to help in their own way. I can honestly say that no one from our group will forget Craig, Gary or Brenda. We considered Clifton part of the staff as well. A very conscientious driver who also helped at "Daisy's Place" and put in numerous days that were longer than he signed up for. I will be returning to Jamaica in October for another outreach trip and hope I can line up Clifton to transport me from Montego Bay to Runaway Bay. You can trust that as our church continues to reach out to those in need in Jamaica Sunvillas will be the first place we turn to for accommodations. On a personal note, I am looking for 8 other people to join my family for a vacation at Idleawile villa....it was one of the more peaceful places I have stayed in all my travels. Reg & Alan We had a sensational time at Idleawile Villa. It was just perfect for our entire group. The setting is magnificent there. We all were saddened to leave. The staff of Brenda, Graig and Gary were exceptional and very cordial and embracing. Carlton and the transportation to/ fro excursions & airports were also nicely done. Carlton was a very nice driver and true gentleman and we all enjoyed his stories and touring.The children just about lived in that pool when we were there. The Kayak was a very enjoyable unexpected treat and the closeby beach which was within walking distance was also a favorite for one morning.

The food and preparations were delightful .Brenda did a great job preparing for all of us and some had special meals. My Pina Coladas were a big hit with and without the rum. The weather was great all week with some showers in the evenings. The Villa was well equiped with everything working well..satellite TV, CD player, Washer/Dryer., A/Cs .and there was a DVD player there also...many beach towels too.Overall this was as good as it gets anywhere anytime.We felt safe and secure and very confident of our surroundings. Many wonderful Photo Ops.

ACTIVITIES
- Tubing the White River...a great thrill for all !
- Dunn`s River Falls ...great fun....but only son, Josh made it all the way up.
- Horseback Riding at Gracco Stables...a fabulous experience for children & 3 adults...with horses swimming with riders...very different. ..topped off at the estate with punch drinks.
-Parasailing at Ocho Rios ..this was really something for my wife, son and 2 grandchildren..truly " awesome" while they were up in the air the others enjoyed the public beach there.
-On all events great safety & security were especially noted .
-Fun small shopping stalls in Ocho Rios at the beach area

NOTES
-Cash required to enter Dunn`s River and for the tubing event( $15 PP)
- Cash required to enter beaches
-Horseback Riding ( $55 PP) & Parasailing( $55PP)took Credit Cards as did all super markets...however there is a 3-4 % charge for use of credit cards sometimes.
-ATMs charge $6.80 per transaction with a maximum withdrawal of $200

Hi Reg, We received your e-mail inquiring about our stay. It was fabulous. It met all our expectations. The villa was just as it had been shown on the website. The staff were very accommodating. I can't say enough good about it. Also, Carlton, the van driver was wonderful as well. Everyone was just so happy and willing to do whatever necessary for us. The only recommendation I might suggest is that renters bring mosquito repellent for the evenings. During the day it was not a problem, but they did seem to come out at night. I also told my travel agent how pleased we were and that I would certainly recommend she use Sun Villas as a resource. Please pass on to the staff how pleased we were with our stay. Marsha

Hello Reg, We really had a wonderful time. The only negative was we had 3 days of rain in a row. But who can control that? I believe the food was even better this time. We got to try more of the local dishes, which most of us really enjoyed. It is definately different going with a large group. The service was not quite as routine, but I guess that is to be expected. Everyone we took with us was very impressed. Many of them had vacationed in Jamaica before; however, they all expressed this was the best way to experiance the country. The roads are really coming along, which is always good to see. We can hardly wait to see how the guest house will turn out. I would be interested in seeing pictures when it is completed. On 4 different occasions we did see some small sharks in the shallow water. So we had to keep on eye out while we were snorkeling. The snorkeling in the bay is much better that anything I have paid for in Ocho Rios. It was quite impressive. It was a great holiday and we look foward to returning. The staff, Brenda, Craig and Gary are just the best. Thanks again Katie and Jason

Reg,We had a wonderful time at Idleawhile. The staff was great, food was good, and the Jamaican people were very friendly. Alan, Thanks for the offer of refunding the 2 unused nights at Idleawile Villa (due to our early departure from Jamaica due to Hurricane Ivan). We had a WONDERFUL time during our stay at Idleawile. The villa was marvelous and the staff was incredible. Brenda, Craig and Gary were extremely friendly and helpful.  They were GREAT with the kids as well. Dwight, our driver was also excellent. He was very helpful and was also great with kids. I will definitely recommend your services to my friends.  Thanks again for taking care of all the arrangements. Anu

Dear Alan and Reg,  I want to let you know that the entire family had just an outstanding stay at Idleawile.  The villa and staff definitely exceeded our expectations and we've traveled to a number of islands before.  Our arrival in Jamaica was a bit ominous with our luggage being lost in Philadelphia but I have to say that once we arrived at the villa a certain calming effect took over. The staff made us feel very welcomed and was most concerned about our luggage. With a cold Red Stripe, a tour of the villa & grounds and we were now on Jamaica time. It was very obvious that this property is very well taken care of and with a lot of pride. (BTW we finally got our luggage that night around 10PM.)  Brenda was absolutely wonderful. She had taken the initiative to do the shopping for us for the week so that was one less thing to think about. My wife and girls gave her a little guidance on their preferences and let her surprise us a mealtime. Everything was so good I gained almost 7 pounds during the stay.  It is hard to describe all the positive aspects of the villa, the staff and grounds. The site is gorgeous, wonderful views, nice beach, great pool, quiet and private.  The sunsets every night were gorgeous and always different. Kayaking in the bay was a treat. We were very spoiled at our private estate for the 9 days of our stay. We miss the villa every day it was that enjoyable.  I've promised the girls that we would return again next year.  Thanks again for all your help and information. Dear Alan and Reg,  Just got back from Idleawile Villa and wanted to give you some comments about our stay:

-Staff was fantastic, great with kids, nice people, very effective too
-Food was timely and tasty – good mix of Jamaican food
-Van was perfect for what we needed – Clifton was a good guy also
- Private beach was a great treat – kids loved it
-Porch and outside furniture were very good
-Grassy area with badminton court was a nice surprise
-SunVillas web site was loaded full of info that simplified many things for us  Keith
