We have returned from the absolute BEST vacation of our lives.  With this trip being our 6th  to Jamaica… we didn’t think it could get any better… but then entered… EMERALD SEAS!   Wow!   I will do my best to convey with the use of words… just how fabulous our time spent at Emerald Seas was! 

Emerald Seas, and the care that Junior, Carleen and Floyd gave us, (Nervella and Dawn too) was truly over the top, AMAZING. 

Our story book tale began with cool washcloths as we arrived, and rum punch!  The next morning with coffee, fruit and sweet breads served on the upper lanai… we were all in Jamaica HEAVEN!   We knew at that moment, we were in for an amazing 10 day stay!   And truly it was.  It completely and utterly surpassed my expectations. 

We loved the Villa, the location, and the layout.  As you know, with this being our first stay at Emerald Seas, we have all decided that this is the place we will return to each and every time we visit Jamaica!  The service and attention to detail, along with the superb daily cuisine prepared deliciously and served to perfection, was all just mind-boggling! 

The tables set by Junior were all something from a designer, truly inspired by his creative spirit.  Junior’s baking… FABULOUS!  His home-made breads, and desserts were yummy…  Carleen’s cooking…. AMAZING!  She prepared the most delicious cuisine imaginable.  Every night, and every morning, I think I said “this is the best thing I’ve ever tasted!”  And the care of Floyd to make sure we had ice cold lemonade and water, while we lounged or played tennis, the clean pool and towels, the grounds were meticulously cared for, along with his coaching of dominoes, was all amazing.  Junior’s flawless service and genuine personality, was something from a book.  Unbelievable.  We literally sat around talking about what a wonderful gift that Junior is to Emerald Seas.  Honest and ethical, sweet and friendly, and a god given talent to put on the best dinner parties nightly!   We are now calling it Fantasy Island!  LOL.   Nervella and Dawn, kept us tidy and pampered!  Nervella shared with us some great history on the villa. 

The weather was a little funky some days, but we all made the best of it, with a couple of trips, and challenging the domino master!   We hardly wanted to leave the estate, it was so inviting and comfortable.   Junior even gave a few of us a baking lesson on key-lime pie, and shared a couple of his recipes.  His enthusiasm for life, Emerald Seas, and Jamaica is infectious. 

We will miss them all!  And are missing them, more then they know!   And many of us are counting the days until our return! 

Celebrating my 50th in such a great place, surrounded by my husband, and our best friends in the world,  and the team at Emerald Seas, was just perfect harmony! 

Denton and his driving and knowledge of us, and places we like to go, was like an amazing friendship, that just seems like we saw him yesterday.  His comfort with our needs and professionalism is always top-notch.   

Telling you that we will be back, as you know with us, is definitely a REALITY!  And when we return we will call Emerald Seas… HOME! 

Thanks again for all your assistance with my birthday celebration, and wonderful villa recommendation.  Between you, Alan and Latoya, we are always treated like royalty.

I have to second every single thing that MaryBeth said in her email message earlier today.
There is simply nothing like Emerald Seas. It is incomparable (though we did stop by to see our old friends at Afterglow and Scotch on the Rocks, it was bittersweet as we knew we would like not be back there again).

I cannot say enough good things about Junior, Carleen and Floyd.  At this stage of the game, several of us have now spent months of our lives in Jamaica. There was never a better trip, or more loving care taken of us than by Junior, Floyd and Carleen.  Their spirit, complete professionalism and grace in sharing a bit of themselves with each of us was absolutely remarkable.

I am already thinking about my sabattical next year, and considering an extended stay at Emerald Seas.

It is a remarkable property to be sure, but there is no question that it is the staff and their exemplary service that will make this our number one destination in the future.

We are grateful to have this time together in their wonderful care.

Thanks to you both for continuing to provide us with the connection to the vacation of a lifetime (again and again).

Reg, Our family vacation to Jamaica was wonderful! It feels great to say family vacation. The villa and staff at Emerald Seas was perfect for us and our little one. This as you know was our third time to stay at Emerald Seas (and our first time with a child) and each time we depart we often say, "that was the best vacation we have ever been on", and each time we return it tops the time before. Unfortunately, we had not gotten to experience the true God given gifts of Junior and Carlena in the past. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and the amazing dishes they prepared each meal. They both made it a point to serve something every meal that our toddler could also enjoy. When our sweet Alvie got tired at the end of the five course meals (only natural for a one year old), Junior kept her smiling as every time he entered the room he was playing "peek-a-boo". This kept Alvie content just long enough for us to finish our meal with the other adults. Nervella and Dawn were equally awesome. Having a one year20old means STAINED clothes from time to time, the two of those ladies sent us home with stained free clothes. Wow, can you believe that? I have coached/directed athletics pretty much my entire life and I have never seen such a true display of team work. At the end of the evening, when I know the staff had to be getting tired, they all worked together in the kitchen to finish up the final clearing of dinner. They were constantly helping one another, when needed, to accomplish the days work. You could really feel the "family vive". I would like to also say, Jamaica has really made some huge leaps from a tourist stand point. The airport has a beautiful new face lift, the new paved high way (only 1 1/2 hours to Ocho Rios), and the addition of Magic Mountain has really added a lot to the island. We had a great trip and we will return, hopefully sooner than later. We would not hesitate at all recommending this villa to anyone with small children. The staff was very patient and kind to our daughter. The only recommendation I would make is that return guests should really get some type of discount that would be more advantageous for them to return more often. Maybe a block of dates that historically is difficult to rent you could offer to return guests at a discounted amt. Just a thought. Guests who have been there and you can count on each year would be great for business. I would like to finally say, Denton was awesome yet again! You should really recommend him to as many visitors as possible, as he really makes the trip. If we knew that Denton could not be our driver, I know with out hesitation we would consider visiting some where else. Thanks Again, Seth, Chastity, and Alvie

Reg, Our vacation was fantastic! This is definitely the way to go on vacation. Having stayed at many of the great resorts around the world my family and I were quite surprised at how enjoyable a fully staffed villa vacation could be. Junior (Butler) and the staff were incredibly attentive yet were never in the way. It was almost as if they had the ability to predict our needs. Additionally, your service at Sun Villas was great. I had initially inquired with three villa rental companies including Sun Villas and your service both initially and throughout the process was excellent. I will certainly look to work with you again. Thanks for everything and we hope to talk with you in the near future, Perry.

Reg,  Emerald Seas was simply awesome, we couldn't have asked for anything better.  The staff was friendly, well trained and very professional - they definitely spoiled us.  The house and grounds were gorgeous and extremely well cared for, and the food was excellent.  We caught a huge spider crab during a scuba dive, and Madge gladly prepared it for us for dinner.  Having Clifton as driver made a big difference, I'm glad we decided to go that route.  All in all, it was a great vacation.  Emerald Seas is truly paradise.  Thanks for your help in making the arrangements for us. Reg & Alan -WOW!!!!  The villa experience was like no other.  As you know my husband and I had previously visited Jamaica and stayed at the Sandals Ocho Rios.  There is absolutely no comparison between a private Villa stay and the Resort.  The Emerald Seas Villa was magnificent.  Everything was just like your pictures!!!   I would like to make sure that you know exactly how wonderful the staff is at Emerald Seas.  There service was unparalleled.  They were more than just individuals who waited on our every need.  By the end of the week we had made a list of new friends.  Other than the delicious food, I think that we were most impressed with our driver services.  Denton Prendergast was superb.  His knowledge of the island was greatly appreciated and his charming way was refreshing.  We actually ended up having he and his wife over for our last nights dinner.  They are a true gem to have working with you.  We will be returning to Jamaica in probably 2-3 years.  Your e-mail address is in our address book.  You will be hearing from us.  Thanks for your brilliant service here on the state side.  You are very professional, timely, and honest organization!!!  Thanks again!!  Chastity & Seth

Hi Reg and Alan, It is good to hear from you and I intended to give you feedback on our trip to Emerald Seas when I had a moment. In a word, it was FANTASTIC !!  It started with you guys helping to set it up, ease of booking, answers to all my questions, and prompt response to all my concerns. The Villa was perfect - beautiful setting beyond belief, relaxing atmosphere and the staff was incredible !! They are such good people and enjoyable and helpful to be around. I got the impression that they would do anything to make sure we had a great time. Absolutely NO complaints from me whatsoever. In fact, we hated to leave and are already talking about a return trip in the future. Let me know if you would like any additional specific information that will help, but we were all incredibly pleased and satisfied with the Villa and especially the staff. Thanks. Bob

Alan,  We returned yesterday from Emerald Seas. What an experience! Everything about it was splendid--Ocho Rios, the house, the staff.   Madge runs a world-class kitchen--no reason ever to eat out when she's on the job. (If she were inclined, she could open a great restaurant.) Raymond was excellent in his duties--never failed to assist any of the twelve guests (eight adults and four children) in any manner but the most polite and helpful. Nancy and Nervella likewise carried on their duties efficiently and pleasantly. Finally, Derrick does a wonderful job maintaining the beautiful grounds of the property. He'd have all of my landscaping business if he ever came up here.  Jamaica is a wonderful country. The land is beautiful and the people are full of great spirit and energy. Emerald Seas is a great way to experience Jamaica.  Dave

Hi Alan,  What can I say? Your company (Sunvillas) made our family vacation the best again, by referring the beautiful Emerald Seas Villa as our vacation paradise.  I must tell you that the villa and staff of Emerald Seas were the best.  I can't describe the service we received from Ms. Marge, Ms. Norvella, Derrick and Raymond.  Ms. Marge has to be the best cook on the island.  From our initial arrival until our departure date, the staff ensured that our every need was met.  The beautiful villa coupled with the outstanding service made our vacation a vacation we will never forget.  There was never a meal that Ms. Marge couldn't prepare and trust me they were always perfect.  The villa and the view was breathtaking.  We never wanted to leave the villa, and when we did we rushed backed, knowing that Ms. Marge would have a feast waiting upon our arrival.  The staff ensured that the house was spotless at all times.  I can't imagine going to Jamaica and not staying at Emerald Seas.  The villa and staff was so great, that I cant help but market the property and refer all my friends and family members to you.  I must say that my family continue to discuss our stay at Emerald Seas and can't wait until we return.  We did learn one thing, that we must stay for two weeks next time.  I think that the owner should commend her staff, because they definitely ensured that our every need was met and they were so professional.  I must say that your company truly sells what is shown on the Internet, and some more.  My family and I can always trust your company to provide everything we could ever want in a vacation.  We have decided after our seventh time to Jamaica, that all we need in the future is Emerald Seas and its beautiful view of the ocean.  Before going to Jamaica this summer, we had planned to take a cruise next year (04), but after staying at Emerald Seas, they voted to return next summer.  I guess if you continue to rent us property as beautiful as Emerald Seas, we will never cruise again.  Again, thank you for a GRAND vacation.  Valerie
