Villa Lido for several decades was maintained primarily as a family beach home with limited availability for rentals. However, for the first time this luxurious villa is now available for guests to enjoy a truly unique Jamaican home. Villa Lido was completely refurbished in the summer of 2002 while retaining the character and feel of the original decor.

The downstairs living room has two large double doors that open onto a covered verandah overlooking the pool and 200 feet of white sand beach, one of the finest of any villa in Jamaica. A separate formal dining room opening onto an outdoor dining terrace also views out to the sea. All five bedrooms, four with ocean views, are air conditioned, and have ceiling fans and TV's. The ground floor has two large twin bedrooms and a wonderful "Kid's Room" . This room has a computer, private bath, games, pocket pool table and sofa. The upstairs has two very private bedrooms each opening onto a covered terrazzo tile balcony overlooking the sea. One bedroom has a king bed, the second two double beds. The furnishings are comfortable Jamaican country. The home is filled with original Jamaican art and art objects collected by the owners.

Outdoors on the wonderful, very private 4 acres are coconut groves, fruit trees and other tropical plantings. A large swimming pool, with comfortable lounge furniture and walkway to a large white sand beach make for enjoyable outdoor relaxing. To complete the picture, a well maintained hard surface tennis court, assures you that you will never wait for that round of doubles.

The villa also includes the services of a Water Sports Concierge "Indian" who can make arrangements for any water sports activities you wish to enjoy. He is an accomplished sailor and life guard and will accompany you on your expeditions if you wish.

Bedroom Configuration:

-Master Bedroom  located upstairs has a king bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan and telephone, and opens to a verandah overlooking the pool and beach.

-Bedroom #2  located upstairs has two double beds, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan and telephone, and opens to a verandah overlooking the pool and beach.

-Bedroom #3  downstairs, has 2 twin beds, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The room opens to a poolside terrace.

-Bedroom #4  downstairs, has 2 twin beds, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The room opens to a poolside terrace.

-Bedroom #5  the kid's room has 2 bunk beds and 1 twin bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan and adjoining bathroom. This room also has a television, computer with internet access and a fax machine.

The villa is fully staffed with caretaker, cook, housekeeper, barman and gardener and is equipped with satellite dish an stereo system. A security guard is provided from 8:00pm to 6:00am.
