Wag Water Guest Comments:

Hello Alan & Reg, just wanted you to know that our stay was wonderful. The ladies, Paulette and Latoya kept us well fed and tidy. Devon was the best, we didn't have to say a word, just a motion towards something we needed and he was there. We often had him with us on our excursions to simplify communication and keep us from wandering in an undesirable location. We are already planning our trip for next year and coming "home" to Wag Water and the crew sounds perfect to me. Once again, the stay was like a dream and I hope it will become reoccurring. Sincerely, Annette

Dear Alan and Reg, We had a wonderful time at Wag Water. The immaculate villa is really lovely, and the setting is exquisite. The staff could not have been nicer, ever watchful yet unobtrusive. Paulette is a great cook, always ready to deal with our idiosyncracies, Latoya kept everything spotless, with fresh flowers in the bedroom and bathroom every day -- a lovely touch. Devon is an absolute poppet; he was so good with my eighty-nine year-old father. We eagerly awaited his table decorations every evening - he is so creative, he really should write a book - "Devon Does Dinner." I'll be happy to do a write up and edit his descriptions. You'll need a good photographer, that's all, and a publisher. One of the nicest things we all agreed on was how harmonious the atmosphere was, the staff worked together so well. When we go back to Jamaica, we will certainly use SunVillas - I'm already recommending you to friends. Thanks so much for all your help in planning before the vacation - everything went without a hitch. Best regards, Lorely

Hi Alan and Reg, we got back from Wag Water villa on Saturday after a brilliant week. I have to say that the staff are fantastic, especially Devon the butler. He was superb. Whenever we had a request he would address it immediately to our satisfaction. Paulette is a excellent cook and Latoya kept the place spotless. They were all such warm people. Our driver, Harry Hunter is a driver I would recommend to anyone. This was the second time we have used Harry and he is someone who deserves to be working every week. He is a very safe driver who seems to know everyone on the island. If you have kids, he is just the best. Wag Water is a excellent villa. The view from the villa is stunning and you get to see the cruise ships go by. The management staff at Prospect Plantation are also superb. They came and visited us when we arrived and explained all the complementary extras to us, including the free tours of the plantation, tennis, preferred rates at Sandals Golf & Country Club course etc. A nice touch was free phone cards to call home, to say we were safe. Latoya arranged for a masseur to come to the villa. The girls had a great time being pampered with a 1 hour massage overlooking the Caribbean Sea. For $55 each, this was incredible value and a service I would totally recommend. The location of the villa is great. Located just 10 minutes from Ocho and good if you want to be spontaneous. The good thing is that you do not need to travel far for amenities. The big bonus we had on this holiday was the virtually exclusive use of the Frankford beach. What a fantastic little beach. Frankford was not booked that week, so we got to use it everyday. Devon would bring our lunch to the beach and Harry would hang around to shuttle us to and from the beach. How’s that for great service. You will not get this kind of service in an all inclusive resort. I would say to anyone considering Wag Water or any of the other Prospect Plantation villas to go for it, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Harry Hunter the driver. He is so friendly, warm and accommodating. In closing, I have to give praise to Alan and Reg at Sunvillas. You guys are such a pleasure to deal with. The level of service you provided was first class. This was the second time we have booked with you and we will be booking with you again next year. Thanks. Karl

Alan, We just returned from our ten wonderful days at Wag Water Villa. The villa, garden, pool and private snorkeling cove were great, but, as I'm sure you know, the villa staff make Wag Water very special. Lucille, LaToya and Danny anticipated our needs. They made sure that nothing prevented us from having a good vacation. Lucille's cooking was a real treat. We enjoyed going with her to the open air market to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables. Her varied menus pleased the whole family. The fresh fruit with breakfast every morning was a real treat. The mangos, bananas, papayas, and pineapple taste so much better that the ones we get at home. Lucille's Jamaican and West Indian dishes were excellent. Her secret recipe Cuban Rum Punch and Coconut Cream Pie received applause from us and our guests. LaToya always had a smile for us and made sure everything was clean and neat. Fresh flowers decorated inside and out. Danny seemed to know about everything Jamaican. He recommended beaches, described nearby shipwrecks, made shopping suggestions, created spectacular table art, and generally made things work. As you may recall, we were in Jamaica for Naz's brother's wedding. On three occasions, we had small dinner parties planned, and as the day progressed, the number of guests grew dramatically. The staff took it in stride, adjusting the facilities, the table, and the menu. They presented excellent meals and ambience for our parties. Our guests were mightily impressed. We received many compliments from members of both(!) families. By the way, when our youngest daughter got an ear infection, Danny put us in touch with Dr. Wieder who came over(!) almost immediately. He diagnosed the problem and prescribed two medicines. He stopped back each day for several days to make sure she was improving. I don't know what to say other than we haven't seen that kind of care in our lifetimes in the States. Alan, your recommendation to choose a driver package, rather than a rental car, was spot on. Our driver Michael was ready whenever we were, during our entire stay. As you suggested, not having to worry about directions, signs, other drivers (wow!) and the potholes made our time more enjoyable. He also took us on a tour along the coast to the east and back into the interior. He always had a smile, was very knowledgeable, seemed to know everyone and was happy to help out in any way possible. Our seven- and ten-year-old daughters enjoyed the pool, snorkeling, and Danny's attention to their evening virgin-Daiquiri needs. We went on the Plantation tour and did the horseback riding. We rafted and tubed down the White River and climbed Dunn's River Falls (a must!). Coyaba Gardens was great and Reggae Beach was close by. We also spent quite a bit of time on the veranda, relaxing and talking with family and friends. Can you tell we enjoyed our time at Wag Water? With many thanks for a memorable, wonderful vacation, Nazarena and Andy

Alan, The Prospect Plantation Villas are definitely 4 star in my book. I had the unique pleasure of booking 3 villas for my family. This afforded everyone the chance to get the taste and feel of each villa and staff. And though each villa was different, each were superb in there own way. The attentiveness that was given to my family was the best part of the whole trip. The staff became part of our family for a week. There are no words to describe the food. Again we were able to taste a bit from each cook. Lucia in Wag Water, Elaine in Frangipani, Maureen in Eight Rivers, and Doreen in Frankfort , all were excellent cooks, and coming from a New Orleans family that is a great compliment. I stayed in Frangipani and of course am partial to it. Elaine and I met and for the first time and by the end of my stay I feel like I had a friend for life. She is as great a cook as she is a person. We were able to teach them a few of our Creole recipes, while at the same time, learning the Jamaican cuisine. It was very difficult to leave because we felt so at home there. We will definitely be repeat guests from this year forward, though you may not have enough villas to accommodate the crew that may want to come after hearing about how much fun we had. I can not leave without giving Ashley special praise. He has got to be the best butler you have. The Prospect Management should be very proud of the job he is doing. And Lorna in Frankfort is top of the line. I truly understand why she is in Frankfort. She treated us like the royalty that usually stays there. It was wonderful talking to her. I will be contacting you in a couple of weeks to talk about next year's booking. I am so glad I found your web site for these villas and thanks again for all of your help. By the way, I did not take heed to one bit of advice you gave me. I tried to coordinate too much, and was tired out by Friday. It will be very different next year. Regards, Rolanda
