SunVillas Vacation Rentals has been on the Internet since 1995 representing only the finest villa properties in Jamaica.  We make the process of renting a Jamaican villa as easy as possible.  Owners Reg Irvine (Jamaican now living in the US) and Alan Marlor have extensive first hand knowledge of each villa they represent.  They both have visited and stayed in the properties and know the villa staff and owners, the villa management companies, ground transportation drivers and all the other details that go into planning a villa vacation.   Their combined expertise helps assure a great Jamaican vacation.

The SunVillas Collection

SunVillas is proud to represent some of the finest villas in Jamaica. We keep our Collection to no more than 150 of the best villas in Jamaica. All of these properties are hand selected by SunVillas. Some web sites offer many hundreds or even thousands of villas and have no real relationship with the owner and no real protection for the consumer in the event something may go wrong. SunVillas is not a huge company nor do we want to be – our goal is to continuously strive to be the best. For us, it is not about how many villas offered, it's about the number of satisfied customers who return each year. To do that we must assure that the villas we represent are outstanding in their class. We strive to only offer properties, from basic to ultra luxurious, that are all the best in their category. Also very few companies in our business provide a Jamaica office. We wanted to provide our guests with seamless customer service while visting in Jamaica and felt a Jamaican presence important.

About Us

SunVillas owners, Alan and Reg, formed their business in the mid 1990's after spending many years vacationing in Jamaican villas.  They sensed that the unique experience of a fully staffed Jamaican villa was not well known and that visitors to Jamaica were missing a wonderful travel experience.   Fantastic food, beautiful surroundings, lots of room, privacy and the incredibly caring villa staff were certainly not features to be found in the popular Jamaican all-inclusive's.  But how to get more people aware of this Jamaican vacation alternative?  They decided to list a few villas owned by their friends on the newly developing Internet to see if they could get them some rentals.  Due to the power of the Internet within a few years they had a business which allowed them both to "retire" from their corporate jobs (Alan worked at 3M and Reg at Nortel) and devote full time to SunVillas.   They have enlisted much help from others in Jamaica. Recently they have opened an Ocho Rios office staffed by Latoya Soares, who handles all the local issues for SunVillas, including ground transportation, meal planning and local trips. Their Jamerican photographer, Brian Nejedly, who has taken all the wonderful photographs used on their web site, also lives in Ocho Rios. They utilize the services of many excellent Jamaican companies including their ground transportation provider Karandas Tours. SunVillas now represents over 140 properties across Jamaica.
