This remarkable location has been used by many film makers trying to capitalized on its beauty such as the films; Blue Lagoon, Club Paradise and Cocktail. The Lagoon via a small channel opens up to the sea but the clear, cool spring water which sits on top of the salty warm water comes from the springs housed in the surrounding mountains. A Helicopter landing facility is available for those who like to travel in style.
Rafting on the Rio Grande is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing pass times to experience in Port Antonio. Enjoy a lazy day floating down the river looking at the scenery and working on your tan. This resort and beach is built around a stream-valley where a river winds through the middle of the valley, over a gorgeous white sand beach and flows in to the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea.
